This course examines the financing of Public Health and the underlying issues that influence resource availability on the federal, state and local levels, including an overview of the grant writing process and the use of basic financial analysis tools, such as forecasting, common sizing and trend analysis. This course is appropriate to anyone new to financial management and budgeting.
There are three modules in this training that can be self-paced and each section takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. Learners can expect clear and digestible content with a diverse selection of knowledge assessments.
The course may be taken alone or as part of the CE Online Certificate in Public Health.
