This eLearning activity covers information to support new and current clinicians and staff who serve American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) people in understanding and elevating healthcare within indigenous communities. Topics include cultural humility, decolonizing patient care, trauma informed care, resilience, wellness support, and professional practice.

Through this eLearning course, you will be able to discuss the historical context and policies that laid the groundwork that affected AI/AN health outcomes, describe past and present-day federal health policies and services provided by the federal government, and take steps to apply a cultural humility approach that demonstrates how to engage with another culture and support resiliency in care.
