Public health data are used to measure and describe disease in a population. In this 1-hour module, you will learn about a variety of public health data sources and find out how to search for and interpret relevant data.

This is module 3 of the Evidence-Based Public Health Training Series. It is meant to stand alone, but you may also take it together with the other modules in this series to receive a certificate in Evidence-Based Public Health.

Reviewers say, "This is a great overview if you are already broadly familiar with quantifying data. If you are new to this information, it might help to watch some of the short videos more than once. The separate worksheet would give you a nice opportunity to practice."

This learning opportunity topic is aligned with one or more of the strategic skills.

This learning opportunity addresses training topics identified in PHWINS 2017.
