I signed up to be a Navigator Quality Reviewer. What should I expect?

The Navigator receives quality training nominations on a rolling basis. Periodically, our team will invite you to review up to 3 online learning opportunities, and it is up to you whether you'd like to accept or decline to participate. Each training you are assigned will take about 90 minutes to review. The more you review, the easier it will become. Generally, you will have 3 weeks to complete a review.

How do I get started?

STEP 1: If you haven't already, take a minute to review the Quality Standards & Review Process.

STEP 2: Before you are assigned a training to review, you must complete the Navigator Reviewer Training. This 60-minute training will introduce you to the Quality Standards for Training and Delivery v. 1.0 and guide you through the process of using the Quality Standards Reviewer Tool to assess the quality of online training. You may register for the Navigator Reviewer Training by creating a Moodle Cloud account.

STEP 3: In the My Courses section, complete the Navigator Reviewer Training.

STEP 4: Apply your new knowledge and skills by taking the Practice Review. The practice review will give you the opportunity to apply your new knowledge to some questions you’re likely to encounter in the reviewer environment. You may take the optional practice review as many times as you’d like. With a score of 75% or higher, you will become an official Navigator Reviewer. We will do our best to assign you training that matches your interests.

STEP 5: Share your thoughts about the training by completing the Post- training Evaluation.

Thank you again!
